  It's a nickel-chromium-iron alloy, characterized by good resistance against oxidation, carbonization and nitriding, as well as to stress corrosion in room and increased temperatures. Also resistant against dry chlorine and hydrogen chloride, offering good mechanical properties at both low and high temperatures.
Applications:

Ideal for fans operating in carburising furnaces. For combustion tubes resisting oxidation. For hooks and conveyor chains used for vitreous-enamelled components preventing oxide falling on the enamel. For thermocouple sheats and for components handling cracked ammonia.
