Caratteristiche generali
It’s an austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy combining corrosion resistance to a high strength both at cryogenic and high temperatures (up to 1000°C). This is thanks to molybdenum and niobium which do not require further precipitation-hardening treatments. It’s resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular attacks and is almost immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
